What to expect at the Cancun International Airport:

Terminal 3

After you get you land and get your luggage, you will go through customs & immigration. Then you must go all the way out the sliding glass doors. When you are fully OUTSIDE, look for the greeter holding the sign with your name on it. He will be looking for you, too!

Look for the CARM logo on the sign.

As you exit terminal 3, you will see a bunch of greeters, all holding signs.

To the right is Air Margaritavilla snack shop. Feel free to buy a frosty beverage for the trip to the hotel.

If you have a long wait, you can order drinks or food served by Berry Hill.

Terminal 2

At Terminal 2, when you exit the sliding glass doors, look to the right to see all the greeters.

Around the corner to the far right is the Meeting Point Cafe, and past that is the snack bar and shuttle that takes you to Terminal 3.

This is a great little air conditioned cafe, perfect for waiting on others to arrive.

Meeting Point Cafe at Terminal 2. As you exit Terminal 2, the cafe is all the way to the right.

Be prepared for crowds of people at both terminals.

If you are meeting people arriving to the other terminal, there is a free shuttle that goes between Terminal 2 & Terminal 3 every 15-20 minutes.

Both terminals have drink carts. This is nice on a hot day and a great way to start your vacation!

Meeting friends arriving to different terminals at the Cancun Airport

Cancun Airport only has 2 main terminals plus a charter terminal.

Our staff is always there, but they may be helping others. Just look for your name on the sign and our logo.

What is the usual tip?

I like to tip the greeter at the airport $1 or $2. For the driver, I tip about like I do a waiter...make it a percentage of the total based on service. Tipping is a personal thing, you can tip as little or much as you want. This is just my suggestion.
